See-through screening in this tote makes it easy to find what you need and the zippered top closure keeps everything secure. There are two outside pockets on front and back, one open for easy access and one zippered to keep valuables secure and will conveniently hold a book, pair of sunglasses or cell phone. Constructed with French seams and box corners.
This is a Martha Pullen project class taught by a Licensed Martha Pullen Instructor. Written instructions are provided.
Supply List:
- Two 18” squares of charcoal mesh screening (will be provided)
- ¼ yard non-directional decorator fabric for pockets
- ¼ yard fabric to coordinate with decorator fabric for pocket lining
- 16” sport or purse zipper for top of tote (if cannot get sport zipper, regular 16” dressmaker zipper will work)
- 7” zipper for zippered pocket
- ½ yard of ¼” or 1/8” grosgrain ribbon for zipper pull
- 3 yards of 7/8” to 1” wide cotton or nylon webbing for handles
- Thread to match fabric and webbing
- Black thread for stitching screening
- #80/12 universal machine needle for construction
- Sewing machine in good working order and knowledge of the machine, power cord, foot controller, manual, Zipper foot for the sewing machine and any accessories.

Class Cancellation Policy
To reserve a seat, all Pocono Sew & Vac classes must be paid in full upon registration. In the event that a student needs to cancel their reservation for a class, they should notify PS&V at least 7 days in advance (by phone) to be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before class will not be issued a refund.
If a class does not have the minimum number of participants 7 days prior to class day, the teacher will cancel class. The customer will be fully refunded within 7 to 10 business days. Any questions call PS&V at 800-442-8227.
Some classes require homework to be done before class, such as cutting/prepping fabrics. If homework is required, it will be posted in the class description. Please read the class description thoroughly before signing up before a class. If homework is not done by the start of class, you will not be able to attend, and a refund will not be issued.
