Pre-set with lower tension, this new bobbin case has the same structure as your original one but with the tension pre-set approximately 10% lower. Used in conjunction with Janome's new design free motion feet, this lower bobbin tension will produce neater stitching on the underside of your quilts. The lower bobbin tension also gives you more tension control for improved results with such speciality applications as hand-look quilting stitches. Also ideal for ribbon embroidery where decorative threads are used in the bobbin.
