A large 14.1" workspace handles everything including large home decor projects. The industry leading 11 ⅝" x 18 ¼" embroidery frame is the largest and most advanced ever offered by Brother. Project stitches or designs onto an 8"x5" projection area, allowing for precise placement and editing.

Picture Play Embroidery Function.

Using AI technology, the Picture Play Embroidery Function converts photos or images into thread art and displays it directly on-screen. With a choice of ten embroidery conversion functions, Picture Play Embroidery function gives users the ability to effectively "paint with thread" for the ultimate “work of art.”

ISR Intelligent Stitch Regulator.

Keeping all stitch lengths even, this feature adjusts the needle timing to match the actual speed of the fabric being fed into the machine. Adjust the length of the stitch and the needle position (width) as well as the height. Includes three modes (Continuous, Intermittent, and Basting) and three interchangeable free-motion feet (regular, open-toe and echo) included. Projected guideline for sensor positioning to show how close to the edge of the fabric you can go with the ISR.

Browse through 31 fonts, 13 new quilt desgns, 7 blarge split patterns, 4 applique patterns, and a new alphabet pattern set. Add a unique geometric element to almost any project with 18 long-stitch patterns inspired by string art. For Disney enthusiasts, there are 217 Disney character patterns to choose from. All on a large 10.1" capacitive LCD touch screen that is easy and comfortable to use.

The control center of EV1 displays more than 16.7 million color combinations with adjustable brightness for comfortable, strain-free viewing. Putting everything from basic operations to advanced embroidery functions at your fingertips, it's an incredibly useful tool for reviewing detailed steps, categories, and browsing designs. With intuitive navigation similar to a tablet, it responds to familiar sliding, swiping, scrolling, and pinch-to-zoom actions.

Buttonhole Preview via StitchVision Technology.

A first in the industry this innovative feature lets users preview the style, vertical or horizontal placement, and spacing of buttonholes through the powerful StitchVision projector. Easily change the spacing, color of the buttonholes or the guidelines for alignment of the edge of the fabric. Select another buttonhole style and audition the style right on your project.

StitchVision Technology.

Preview your stitches before you sew! Project a marker line, square, circle, grid or designs directly onto the fabric in one of 16 colors. This feature brings the reassurance of precision to every project. Enables real-time editing within the projected area - move, resize, and rotate directly on the fabric using the dual-purpose stylus. Operational in both embroidery and sewing modes.

Edge-to-Edge Quilt Feature.

With easy-to-follow instructions and 15 patterns to choose from, this dynamic feature lets users finish their quilt directly on the Aveneer EV1. Even with our 7" x 12" or 10" x 10" magnetic hoops. A great substitute for a long arm!

Quiltbroidery.

With five options of two-color quilting sash designs, it's easy to create a veriety of eye-catching, colorful borders and quilting patterns, including easy-to-connect two-color designs. The auto-split designs are further enchanced with five hexagon shapes for additional creativity, plus single or triple stitch options for sash quilting stitches that stand out on every project.

Expanded Angles for Guideline Marker.

In addition to the existing 30, 45, 60 and 90 degrees, Aveneer also has angles of 120, 135, 150 and -90.

Voice Guidance Feature.

When activated, this feature provides a gentle, audible heads-up about next steps and offers guidance throughout the lifecycle of design projects. Alerts included thread change notifications and project completion. Designed to facilitate easier learning, it eliminates the need for users to rely on th eLCD display or to struggle with reading smaller type. Available in a choice of 6 languages including English, French, and Spanish.

Mobile Apps.

App compatibility extends the creative possibilities of the EV1. With the Artspira Mobile App2, access 20 bonus designs for the large hoop or use the drawing tool to create personalized quilt labels. The My Design Snap App2 provides the opportunity to digitize any photo in one of 10 filters, all wirelessly between a mobile device and the EV1.
