Unlike the traditional method of hand-stitching with a 7" felting needle and wet wool, this attachment uses no thread. Instead, each needle has four barbs that catch surface fibers, pushing them into and through a base fabric, allowing the home sewer to create complex designs with ease while bringing the joys of feltscaping to a much broader consumer base. Each Feltscaper comes complete with attachment and a specialty needle setup , and an ergonomically designed needle guard/dust box to keep the bobbin area clean.
