The Gwennie Crossbody is great for those outings when a large purse is too much, and you would like to be hands free. The adjustable strap makes it perfect for everyone. It’s very roomy inside and includes an exterior pocket as well as an interior pocket. Pick your favorite fabrics and come make a bag!

- You will see that my list of supplies is a little different than the pattern, please follow this so you have enough just in case you need it.
- 1 yard main exterior fabric (quilting cotton only)
- 1 yard interior/lining fabric (quilting cotton only)
- For the strap EITHER a piece of fabric 4”x56, or a yard and a half of ONE inch webbing.
- 2 yards Pellon SF 101
- Fusible fleece 23x16 (NOT FOAM)
- Two 1” rectangle rings
- One 1” slider
- One #5 NYLON zipper, at least 9” long. (if you can’t find a #5, let me know)
- One #3 NYLON (regular) zipper, at least 12” long.
- One #3 NYLON (regular) zipper, at least 8” long.
Zippers can be cut, better to have longer than shorter.

- Water-soluble Erasable Marking Pen, or Chalk Pencil
- Rotary Cutter or scissors
- Pins, wonder clips
- Seam ripper
- Any notions you like to use when sewing
- Sewing machine in good working order, with needles and bobbins
- Any other notions you like to use when sewing.
- Ruler
- ¼” double stick sewing tape.
NOTE TO STUTDENTS:
Please interface all fabric before cutting. You may have a little waste, but it is a much easier way to do things. All pattern (paper) pieces should be cut and taped together at the matching symbols, or letters. Use those pieces to cut your fabrics. Please cut and label all fabric pieces prior to class. This will ensure that your bag is finished in class. BE SURE TO BRING ANY LEFTOVER FABRICS, AND INTERFACING, IN CASE IT IS NEEDED. Class Cancellation Policy
To reserve a seat, all Pocono Sew & Vac classes must be paid in full upon registration. In the event that a student needs to cancel their reservation for a class, they should notify PS&V at least 7 days in advance (by phone) to be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before class will not be issued a refund.
If a class does not have the minimum number of participants 7 days prior to class day, the teacher will cancel class. The customer will be fully refunded within 7 to 10 business days. Any questions call PS&V at 800-442-8227.
Some classes require homework to be done before class, such as cutting/prepping fabrics. If homework is required, it will be posted in the class description. Please read the class description thoroughly before signing up before a class. If homework is not done by the start of class, you will not be able to attend, and a refund will not be issued. If you have any questions regarding class homework, please call the store and we will be happy to help.
