The Westalee Design Ruler foot is designed to enable quilters using a domestic sewing machine to quilt with rulers and templates to create beautiful quilting designs. We have an ever growing range of templates for you to choose from. The templates are designed specifically for use with a 1/2" ruler foot.

RULER FOOT SIZE (High Shank versus Low Shank):
to check if your machine is a high shank or low shank machine:

  1. Lower your foot.
  2. Measure the height of the center of the hole for the screw from the needle plate.
  3. If the measurement is 1/2" then you have a low shank machine.
  4. If the measurement is 1" then you have a high shank machine.
